one of the best things to ever come out of kansas since dorothy.


Janelle Monáe is FIRE. She's one of the best singers that i've heard in a GOOD minute. She writes and produces her own songs, and even worked out her record label contract so that she could have independent control of her music. She's a genius. Her voice, her style, her essence--all scream "swag" at me. AMAZING.

Check her out with the "many moons" video...and tell me she's not fabulous.
